Perhaps you have also noticed the trend; A large portion of well-reviewed & respected escorts are leaving the biz, in very large numbers. It’s only within the past 6 months that I’ve noticed but, when I look back further this has been a trend for 18 roughly months now. Why? Bad Economy? Not Making Good Money Any More? Married? Pregnant? Real Job? None of these reason actually, escorts are getting fed up with the clients. Not our regulars we adore you but, the new guys.
The amount of timewaster, haggaler, creeper & all around douche bag emails I get these days far out weigh the amount of genuine inquiries I receive in any given week. Guys if you want to keep quality ladies in the biz, its simple don’t be a jackass.

You always have other options, isn’t that why you got into the hobby in the first place? Don’t pester an escort with mindless crap, if you don’t like something or agree with what she provides or charges there are a plethora of other options, find someone who will make you happy.

Interesting comments… Well I believe the hobby is like most industries…everything goes in cycles. This may be a low cycle that you see a lot of ladies leaving the biz. Maybe later this year or even next year you may find more ladies in the biz. Now I don’t have any facts to back this up…just guessing.
Now…the other hand…it appears the LE has stepped up the forces on cracking down on the biz. It seems they have found ways to infiltrate the hobby boards gathering info and busting the people who maintain the boards. I know of 3 hobby boards that biz has been interrupted by LE crackdowns. I even heard from 1 of my ATF’s that she is thinking of getting out of the biz cause it’s getting harder due to timewasters, LE crackdowns, and numerous cancellations.
As for trying to find ladies who offer services at a cheaper price…hmmm? The hobby is no different than any other biz…people will shop around for cheaper prices and haggle if they think they get it cheaper. Sorry, but if you think it will stop…then you are fooling yourself. So why belittle guys who do so….just move on to the next person. If a lady is out of my preferred price range I will not contact her…period. If she offers specials…I may ask if the special is still in effect or if she plans to extend it. Some ladies take offense to guys asking if they are offering specials…again, it’s part of doing normal biz. If you expect people to respect you as a business person…then don’t get mad when guys normally haggle as part of their normal biz.
As for preferred services…I try to do research as much as possible. If it is implied that the lady doesn’t offer the services I seek…then I move on. In some cases I will ask…blogs like this offer a great way to find out more about the lady without being insulting. I don’t call anyone from a BP ad….so no worries there.
The hobby does revolve & many more women in college, stay at home moms & laid off professionals are entering the biz in record numbers without a clue as to what is going on and putting themselves at great risk in the process. Unfortunately TV specials like CNBCs “Dirty Money” have lured women into a false sense that this is an easy job, where you just answer emails & make $10000 a night.
LE isn’t really cracking down hard, they’ve just changed their method of approach. Women were able to leave working the streets when the internet sex trade started booming and with a change in criminal behavior so came a change in how to police the behave.
Ahhh… negotiating. Now you walk into subway for their $5 foot-long deal but, you only want a 6″ sub by your reasoning you should only pay $2.50, not going to happen that 6″ is $4.50 + tax. Okay my other profession forensic accounting, we bid on contracts & we are never the lowest bidder but, 72% of the time we will win a contract because…… we have the reputation to justify the cost. As an escort I offer a very personal service and I have every right to bitch about some asshat offering me ‘What can I get for $60?” “I only have $100 okay?” “If im going to pay $300 I want the true GFE BBFS” “How much for just a blow job?” I have no real issue with someone asking me if I have a special, its something guys have come to expect as most new providers call their rates specials. I do offer discounted rates to members of various sites so, I do not draw a hard line with my rates but, I will be the one to draw the line.
Ginger you have some valid points and I do agree that your local sub shop will not let you haggle for a cheaper sandwich just because you only have $2 or $3 to spend. And whatever biz you are in you the right to refuse service to anyone, specially if they are not willing to pay your asking price. I have negotiated special pricing with a few ladies…well under their posted rates….but this was based on an agreement we reached together. I won’t disclose the agreement, but it was a mutual. I understand why most ladies will state in their profiles that they “will not negotiate rates”. Again…if a ladies rates are at the upper limit I will read her profile info and reviews very carefully. I want to make sure she provides all or most the things I like in a private encounter. There are a few things I consider as ‘dealbreakers’ and she doesn’t provide them…then I will move on.

Unfortunately, Its a growing trend in not only the escort business but any adult business. It seems if there is anything to gripe about or not, you will get the gripe email. The adult industry has hit more of a mainstream spotlight in the last few years and when any industry has this happen, there is an influx of people, good and bad. Its very frustrating, Online Dommes, Pro Dommes who do live sessions, cam girls, content producers who do custom videos, everyone in the adult biz seems to had had these same issues with and in greater numbers as of late. I don’t believe its a cycle, I think things are just changing as everything does a little bit day by day and week by week.
At a certain level the BS can be tolerated, the delete button is utilized and we move on with our day. When our days become an overflowing email box with the constant spew of negative, scammers, bullshit artists, bitching, whiners, and flakes…it can wear on anyone. I don’t think anyone of those negative emails that are haggling, criticizing, or just plain being rude realize there really aren’t the first person that day that has sent us a message. The shear volume of emails that some of us receive would astound the regular email user that doesn’t run their own business.
I agree with the blog post above, Ginger. They are retiring because they are tired of it. For some reason the simple act of moving on to the next ad or lady’s website doesn’t compute with this breed of internet user. They HAVE to comment, make themselves heard, and basically show that they can be bullies in the hopes that a lady will crack and give them what they want. These are usually the clients that not many find that appealing in the first place and choose not to see based on their off putting personality.
